Daniel Jachens began work in the construction realm at age 14. He worked for a licensed builder through an apprenticeship program for 3 years. He then continued working with the same builder including primary maintenance responsibilities for a Christian school and camp thus gaining a broad range of construction experience. Daniel started Dan’s Handyman Service in 2001 and acquired his residential builder’s license in 2007. Being in business for 20+ years, Daniel has a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of construction.
Bob Cord began an engineering/management career after graduating from Georgia Tech in 1975. Working for Factory Mutual Engineering, Owens Corning, and BASF over the next 32 years, he developed experience in design, production management, process control, technical management, marketing, customer support, and R&D. Wanting to develop a local business from the ground up, he left the corporate world to partner with Daniel Jachens, his son-in-law, to start Daniel Builders, Inc. and Trusted Tradesmen & Co.
Jason began working in the trades as a framer during his high school and college years. As a young adult he worked in his family’s architectural millwork business, where he specialized in custom molding and trim. In 1998 he started working as a conventional driver with Pepsi Co where he remained for almost 10 years. In 2007 he followed his entrepreneurial spirit and purchased a trucking company. He currently operates out of hubs in Greenville/Spartanburg, Charlotte, and Savannah. Jason is thrilled to be returning to his trade roots with Trusted Tradesmen & Co. Jason and his wife Jill have three children. They enjoy serving the community and spending family time together.
Joe joined Trusted Tradesmen & Co in the summer of 2023 after twenty-three years in education. He spent the last eleven years in school administration. Joe’s extensive experience in leading a team, public relations, scheduling, and budget management were vital to the growth of the school. Those leadership traits are a great asset as he manages the Trusted Tradesmen & Co. electrical division. Joe graduated from Malone University in Canton, Ohio in 2000. He moved to Anderson in 2012 where he currently resides with wife Melissa and their five children. The Canneys are active members in their local church and enjoy all things sports (especially basketball and baseball). They love traveling to the beach every chance they get!
Dale is an artist whose primary medium is wood. His first job was in woodworking. In college, Dale studied art and graphic design, skills that have only enhanced his woodworking. He loves hearing a client’s vision and creating their design. He then builds a cabinet system that will enhance their home. When he’s not working at the Trusted Tradesmen shop, Dales enjoys reading, carving, fishing, and hiking. Saturday nights he can be found whipping up a huge batch of homemade pizza for his kids and friends.
Garth is a master plumber whose experience goes all the way back to his childhood. As a third generation plumber, Garth learned the plumbing trade under the tutelage of his father and grandfather. He was employed by his grandfather until he launched his own business. Garth is also an avid metal worker, a skillset he uses to complement his knowledge of plumbing. Garth holds a master plumbing license in Georgia and in South Carolina. In 2022, Garth decided to get married and came to Pendleton where his fiancée resides.
Prior to joining Trusted Tradesmen, Amy was a Preschool Director and a Teaching Assistant for Special Education in Spartanburg District 5. She gained extensive QuickBooks experience while managing a children’s daycare in Spartanburg. The Greenville / Spartanburg area has been home for most of her life. She graduated from the University of South Carolina Spartanburg in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She and her husband, Steve, have 2 children - Grant and Darby. Both kids are involved in travel sports, so the Ward family stays on the go!
Prior to joining Trusted Tradesmen & Co in October 2022, Cory worked for Habitat for Humanity of Anderson County for nearly eight years. During this time, he played an integral role in the growth of their retail business. Cory also has great experience in student development and process improvement. He holds a degree in Psychology from Anderson University and an MBA from Baldwin-Wallace University. Both degrees shaped his passion for leadership! Originally from Stillwater, MN, Cory has lived in Anderson for nearly twenty years. Cory and his wife, Meagan, have two little boys – Joseph and Joshua. The Lundeen family is active in their church and love weekend getaways to explore the mountains.
